I had good people around me throughout my career — people who believed in me and wanted me to succeed. But motorsport is complicated, and when you’re trying to build a career, the decisions outside the car can matter just as much as what happens on track.
Teams. Testing. Money. Relationships. Opportunities. Knowing when to stay, when to move and what to do next. I learned a lot of those lessons by living them.
Speed gets you noticed. It doesn't always keep you there.
That experience is why I created MDD. Not to make drivers drive like I did, but to help each driver understand who they are, what may be holding them back and how to make better decisions about where they go next.
“If I'd had MDD when I was 15 years old, I think I'd still be racing at a very high level today.”
— Darren Manning
I HAD THE SPEED. I DIDN'T ALWAYS HAVE
ALL THE ANSWERS.
DRIVER
Performance & Understanding
Driving technique, racecraft, consistency and understanding what the car is telling you. The goal isn't just to find lap time — it's to understand where it comes from and be able to repeat it.
MIND
Confidence & Mental Approach
Confidence comes from understanding. MDD helps drivers recognize what's really happening when performance drops, recover from difficult sessions and develop the mental toughness racing demands.
PATH
Decisions & Development
Teams. Testing. Budgets. Opportunities. Career direction. MDD helps drivers and families make better decisions about what comes next — and where their time and money are best spent.

EVERY DRIVER IS DIFFERENT
Different goals. Different challenges. Different circumstances. There is no single path through motorsport. MDD starts by understanding the driver — where they are now, where they want to go and what may be standing in the way.
